Vivo has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming V70 series smartphones. The lineup, which includes the Vivo V70 Elite and the Vivo V70, will debut in the country on February 19 at 12 PM IST. Both devices will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, and the Vivo India online store.
The announcement follows a series of official teasers revealing key specifications, design elements, and colour options for the smartphones.
Vivo V70 Elite, Vivo V70 India Launch Details
According to Vivo, the new V70 series will feature the narrowest bezels in the under-Rs. 50,000 segment, measuring just 1.25mm. This supports recent leaks suggesting that both models will be priced below Rs. 55,000 in India.
Dedicated microsites for the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite are now live, confirming availability across major e-commerce platforms alongside Vivo’s official store.
Design and Colour Options
The Vivo V70 series will sport square-shaped rear camera modules, giving the phones a premium and modern look.

- Vivo V70 Elite colours: Passion Red, Sand Beige, Authentic Black
Performance and Display
The Vivo V70 Elite will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard Vivo V70 will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor.
Both models are teased to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with:
- 459ppi pixel density
- Up to 120Hz refresh rate
- Peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits
- Support for 1.07 billion colours
Battery, Durability, and Charging
Vivo has confirmed that the V70 series will pack a 6,500mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging support. The smartphones are also expected to ship with IP68 + IP69 ratings, offering enhanced protection against dust and water.
Camera Specifications
In the camera department, the Vivo V70 series will feature a Zeiss-powered triple rear camera setup, including:
- 50MP Sony IMX882 primary sensor with OIS
- 50MP telephoto camera
- An ultrawide camera (sensor details yet to be revealed)
For selfies and video calls, both models will sport a 50MP front-facing camera.
