Compact Design with Flagship Hardware

The OnePlus 15T follows a familiar design approach with flat edges and a compact form factor. It features a 6.32-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a high refresh rate of up to 165Hz, ensuring smooth visuals, especially for gaming.

The display also offers up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness and includes eye protection certifications, making it suitable for prolonged use.

Performance Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5

At its core, the OnePlus 15T is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, positioning it among the most powerful compact smartphones currently available.

The device is paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB UFS 4.1 storage. It also introduces gaming-focused enhancements, including a dedicated touch response chip and optimised performance architecture designed to improve responsiveness and maintain stable frame rates during intensive gameplay.

Camera Setup Focuses on Core Photography

The smartphone features a dual rear camera system, consisting of a 50MP primary sensor and a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x zoom. It does not include an ultra-wide sensor, indicating a more focused camera approach.

For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 16MP front camera.

Massive 7,500mAh Battery with Fast Charging

One of the standout features of the OnePlus 15T is its large 7,500mAh battery, which is among the biggest in its category.

It supports 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, marking the first time a compact OnePlus flagship includes wireless charging support. This combination aims to deliver both long battery life and convenient charging options.

Additional Features and Build Quality

Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a relatively lightweight and compact build. It also comes with high durability ratings, offering protection against water and dust, including resistance to high-pressure conditions.

Other key features include:

  • Android 16-based operating system
  • In-display fingerprint sensor
  • 5G connectivity
  • Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth support
  • USB Type-C port

India Launch Expectations

While OnePlus has not officially announced an India launch, reports suggest the device could arrive under a different name. If launched competitively, it may appeal strongly to users looking for a compact flagship with powerful internals and exceptional battery life.

Conclusion

The OnePlus 15T positions itself as a strong contender in the compact flagship category. With its powerful chipset, high-refresh-rate display, and massive battery, it delivers a balanced mix of performance and endurance.

However, its limited availability outside China remains a key factor. If the company expands its reach and maintains competitive pricing, the device could attract significant attention in global markets, including India.
