Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 series may introduce a new on-device AI image generation feature, according to a recent leak. The lineup, expected to include the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra, is likely to debut later this month, with retail availability tipped for March.

While Samsung has not officially confirmed details about the next-generation flagship series, multiple leaks continue to hint at new AI-driven capabilities planned for the devices.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series Could Get EdgeFusion AI Image Generator

According to tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), Samsung has partnered with South Korean AI company Nota AI to develop a new AI-powered image generator named EdgeFusion. The feature is reportedly designed for the entire Galaxy S26 lineup, including the Ultra, Plus, and standard models.

As per the leak, EdgeFusion will allow users to generate images directly on the device in under a second using text-based prompts. By relying on on-device processing instead of cloud-based systems, the feature is expected to deliver faster results while improving privacy and responsiveness.

The move is said to be part of Samsung’s broader strategy to strengthen on-device AI image processing, enhancing both creative tools and photography-related experiences on Galaxy smartphones.

Focus on Privacy and On-Device AI

The report comes shortly after Samsung unveiled a new privacy screen feature aimed at reducing shoulder surfing. The feature reportedly limits screen visibility to users viewing the display straight-on, preventing people nearby from seeing on-screen content.

Samsung has indicated that users will be able to customise how and when the privacy screen activates, including selecting specific apps where the feature should automatically turn on for added security.

Launch Timeline and Expectations

A leaked invite suggests that Samsung could unveil the Galaxy S26 series during a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, with sales expected to begin in March. Alongside EdgeFusion and the new privacy screen feature, the S26 lineup is anticipated to introduce additional AI-focused enhancements, although official specifications remain under wraps.

More details are expected to surface closer to the launch event.
